Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use a web application. They allow us to recognize your device, keep your session active and save preferences. Arvo also uses similar technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB — for the same purposes. In this document, the term "cookies" covers all these technologies.

These are essential for the operation of the App. Without them, you cannot log in or use the service. Their legal basis is contract performance and legitimate interest, and they do not require prior consent.

Authentication tokens (Firebase Authentication): keep your session active and validate your identity. Duration: session / up to 1 hour with automatic renewal.

IndexedDB (Firestore): enables offline operation and synchronization of your financial data across devices. Duration: permanent until manual clearing.

localStorage (preferences): stores the App's language, theme and settings. Duration: permanent until manual clearing.

Push notification subscription: unique identifier associated with your device, used to send reminders and alerts. Only activated if you expressly authorize notifications. You can revoke authorization at any time in the App's or device's settings.

Arvo does not use advertising, marketing or third-party tracking cookies.

The only third-party cookies eventually used are those set by Google services (Firebase and Google Sign-In), exclusively for authentication and operation of the App. They are not used for commercial or advertising purposes.

You can control or delete cookies at any time:

Browser settings: all modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) allow you to block or delete cookies.

Push notifications: you can disable them in Arvo's settings or in your device's operating system settings.

Clearing local data: you can erase all data stored locally through your browser settings. Warning: this action ends the session and removes data available offline.

If you block strictly necessary cookies, Arvo may not work properly.

We may update this Policy whenever new features or sub-processors using cookies are added. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
